Behemoth Announce ‘I, Scvlptor’ Featuring Re-Recordings, Guest Appearances & Venom And Bathory Covers

Behemoth have unveiled full details for their upcoming release I, Scvlptor, including the tracklist, artwork, and a mix of new material, re-recordings, and cover songs. The album will arrive via Massacre Records on September 4th.

The release sees the Polish blackened death metal outfit revisiting early material, including re-recorded versions of “Rise Of The Blackstorm Of Evil” and “In Thy Pandemaeternum”, presented with updated production and arrangement.

Also featured is a live rendition of Bathory’s “The Return Of Darkness And Evil”, which includes a guest appearance from Rotting Christ vocalist Sakis Tolis.

Elsewhere, Behemoth take on Venom’s “In League With Satan”, featuring Shagrath of Dimmu Borgir on vocals.

Frontman Nergal described the release as a bridge between eras of the band’s history, as well as a tribute to their influences:

“‘I, Scvlptor’ is Behemoth’s latest full-length release—a standalone work that connects our past with what’s new and fresh. Here you’ll find premiered, never-before-released tracks that capture the full energy, intensity, and power that has driven this band for decades. We’ve also delved into our earliest work, giving it a new dimension and a contemporary sound. ‘I, Scvlptor’ is also a tribute to artists without whom Behemoth would never have existed.
