Behemoth Debut “Nomen Barbarvm” Music Video From ‘The Sh*t Ov God’

Polish blackened death metal institution Behemoth have unveiled a new music video for “Nomen Barbarvm,” the latest single taken from their current studio album ‘The Shit Ov God’. The clip was directed by longtime collaborator Dariusz Szermanowicz, continuing the band’s tradition of visually uncompromising releases.

Frontman and guitarist Nergal spoke about the track’s philosophical undercurrent and its place within Behemoth’s catalog, stating:

“‘I create as I speak.’ Isn’t that, in essence, Crowley’s ‘Do what thou wilt’ — just cast in slightly different words? This idea became the lyrical leitmotif of ‘Nomen Barbarvm,’ arguably one of the most melodic, yet also deeply groove-driven tracks Behemoth have ever committed to tape. In just a moment, we’ll be putting it to the test live on our upcoming tour.

Behemoth will soon take “Nomen Barbarvm” to the stage as part of their spring North American headlining run, ‘The Godless IV Tour’, which features support from Deicide, Rotting Christ, and Immolation.
