Converge drummer Ben Koller has revealed he was involved in a frightening hit-and-run car crash over the weekend. In a post shared to Instagram, Koller explained that another driver T-boned his vehicle on Sunday and immediately sped off — but not before their bumper ripped off and left the license plate behind.
Despite the impact, Koller reassured fans that he walked away with no major injuries and is feeling fortunate the situation wasn’t far worse.
“Nice little Sunday. They t-boned me and fled the scene. Luckily their bumper flew off and had the license plate on it. I’m somehow walking and talking and pretty lucky to be alive. Don’t waste a second this thing could be over at any second and it’s completely out of your control. I think god wants me to finish my work at @heavymusiccollective ok bye see you at saddest day fest”
