Between The Buried And Me have officially released their cover of The Smashing Pumpkins’ “Jellybelly,” giving fans a first listen to the band’s contribution to an upcoming tribute album celebrating the legendary alternative rock group.
The track originally appeared on The Smashing Pumpkins’ landmark 1995 album ‘Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness’ and has been reimagined by the North Carolina progressive metal veterans for the forthcoming tribute compilation ‘Sending Hearts To All My Dearies – A Tribute To The Smashing Pumpkins.’
The tribute album is scheduled for a digital release on August 14th through Sumerian Records, with a vinyl edition arriving on October 16th
Notably, the project has received support from The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, further adding to the significance of the release.
