Swedish alternative metal veterans Blindside have officially announced that work is underway on their first full-length album since 2011’s With Shivering Hearts We Wait.
The news comes via a social media update shared today (June 26th), where the band wrote:
“Friends, just letting you know that we ARE making a NEW ALBUM. Until then, we have a new T-shirt and a few 7 inch vinyls left in the webstore if you want to support us. Have a great summer. /blindside”
The announcement follows the release of “Dead Weight”, the band’s first new song in five years, which dropped in March and marked their first studio output since 2019.
While details surrounding the upcoming record are still under wraps, this marks the band’s most active period in over a decade and signals a long-awaited return to form.
