Bring Me The Horizon had a surprise in store during their headlining set at this year’s Hellfest Open Air in Clisson, France, welcoming Will Ramos to the stage for a performance of “Antivist.”
The appearance took place during the opening day of the festival on June 18 and was captured on the event’s livestream. Ramos, best known as the frontman of symphonic deathcore outfit Lorna Shore, joined the band for the fan-favorite track from 2013’s Sempiternal.
Bring Me The Horizon have often invited audience members onstage during “Antivist,” and they initially played into that tradition by presenting Ramos as just another fan. However, with a crowd packed with metal devotees, the joke was quickly exposed and the audience recognized him almost immediately.
The cameo added another memorable moment to the band’s festival season and marked yet another crossover between two of modern heavy music’s biggest names.
