    Beartooth Vocalist Caleb Shomo Returns To Instagram Following Social Media Hiatus

    Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo has resurfaced on Instagram after stepping away from the platform earlier this year.

    Shomo deleted his profile back in March following widespread online discussion surrounding his appearance in the video for “Free”, a track released by the platinum-certified melodic metalcore outfit roughly a week before his social media exit. The vocalist’s dramatic visual transformation in the clip sparked heavy debate online, drawing both support and criticism from fans and fellow musicians alike.

    Among those who commented publicly at the time was Chris Fronzak of Attila, who later apologized after making jokes related to the backlash.

    Weeks after leaving Instagram, Shomo addressed the reaction during an interview with Full Metal Jackie, explaining that his focus remains on creating art that feels authentic to him.

    “…All I’m trying to do is just be as honest as I can and enjoy this very, very amazing gift that I have of being able to be in a band and that be my job, and make the art that I wanna make. I understand how rare it is. I understand how blessed I am to be able to do this, so I just wanna make the most of it.”

    He continued:

    “And I know if I kind of get wrapped up in how people are reacting or get wrapped up in the people who don’t resonate with it, then maybe I’ll lose sight of all the people who do resonate with it.”

    “And more importantly, I’ll lose sight of the only person who truly resonates with it, and that is me. And I just wanna be happy doing what I’m doing. So, that’s all I’m trying to focus on at the moment.”

    Shomo’s first Instagram post since returning went live on May 12th and featured a series of behind-the-scenes photos, tour moments and candid images shared without a caption.

    His return to social media also arrives alongside new teasers hinting at additional music from Beartooth, whose sixth studio album is currently expected later this year.

          Example: Look into what happened to Marcie Free from Unruly child.

          Nick Curry And no, not all kids are being forced into this. My niece came out as bi to me at 11 back in 2022, and she comes from a very conservative background. If she felt safe to come out to me instead of the rest of my family, then it isn’t being pushed on children.
