Cancer Bats Announce 20th Anniversary Canadian Tour For ‘Birthing The Giant’

Canadian hardcore punk lifers Cancer Bats have announced a coast-to-coast Canadian tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album, ‘Birthing The Giant’. The spring run will feature support from fellow Canadians Anciients, TEETH, and Chastity, with tickets going on sale Friday, January 16th at 10:00am local time.

Frontman Liam Cormier shared his excitement about revisiting the landmark release:

“I can’t believe ‘Birthing The Giant’ is TWENTY YEARS OLD! Time flies when you’re having fun eh!?!?!
We are all so excited to celebrate this album with everyone from Coast To Coast! Playing in so many amazing cities we’ve been partying in for the past 20yrs!!!
THIS IS GOING TO BE THE BEST TOUR EVER!!!”

Originally released in 2004, Birthing The Giant helped establish Cancer Bats as one of Canada’s most ferocious hardcore exports, blending punk urgency with metallic heft and unhinged energy. Most stops on the tour will feature full-album performances, with one notable exception.
