Castle Rat Share KEXP In-Studio Session Performance Ahead Of ‘The Amonlok Conquest’ Tour

Medieval doom metal collective Castle Rat have unveiled a newly released in-studio performance recorded earlier this year at Seattle’s famed KEXP studios.

The session, captured this past January, features the band performing three tracks — “WIZARD”, “SIREN”, and “QUEEN” — showcasing the theatrical energy and riff-driven weight that have helped the group stand out within the modern doom scene. The full performance is now available to watch online.

The release arrives just ahead of the band’s next major touring run, where Castle Rat will serve as support on ‘The Amonlok Conquest’ North American tour. That trek will be co-headlined by Dethklok and Amon Amarth and kicks off later this month.
