Industrial metal outfit Combichrist have teamed up with King 810 frontman David Gunn for a new collaborative track titled “Demons Wanna Be Summoned.”
While neither act has directly commented on the collaboration, a press release describes the track as a major sonic shift for Combichrist, trading their usual high-speed aggression for a slower, heavier and more suffocating approach.
According to the release, the song unfolds at a “deliberate, heavy crawl”, building tension through industrial textures and ritual-like pacing rather than speed or chaos. The pairing is framed as a natural fit, blending Combichrist’s electronic-industrial foundation with Gunn’s “raw, streetwise intensity” rooted in Flint, Michigan.
The end result is described as intentionally unsettling — a track built on weight, atmosphere, and tension rather than tempo.
