Comeback Kid have announced a special benefit show honoring their late bassist Matt Keil, with all proceeds from the event set to go directly to his family.
Keil, who previously played bass for the Canadian hardcore band, passed away in July 2025 following a 19-month battle with ALS.
The benefit will take place on November 6, 2026, at the North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center in Minneapolis, MN. The lineup will feature a yet-to-be-announced co-headliner, along with performances from Arms Aloft, Regret, Lowtalker, Rewind, and another special guest that has yet to be revealed.
Comeback Kid announced the event today, September 18th, describing it as an opportunity for friends, family and the Twin Cities community to come together in Keil’s memory.
“Matt K Forever. On November 6th 2026 in Minneapolis we’ll be gathering with friends, family and community of the twin cities to celebrate our brother Matt Keil.”
“An evening dedicated to the Matt with all proceeds going directly to Keil family.”
“Live performances from Comeback Kid, special guest co-headliner (announced soon), Arms Aloft, additional special guest (announced soon), Regret, Lowtalker and Rewind.”
The show will be all ages, with beer available to attendees who are of legal drinking age and present valid ID. Advance tickets are currently on sale.
