Converge Debut “Doom In Bloom” Video

Metalcore veterans Converge have released their new single “Doom In Bloom”, along with an official music video directed by George Gallardo Kattah.

The track marks the second preview from the band’s upcoming 2026 album ‘Hum Of Hurt’, which is scheduled to arrive June 5 via Epitaph Records. While the song is new in an official capacity, fans who caught Converge live in 2025 may already be familiar with it from early performances.

Frontman Jacob Bannon shed light on the track’s lyrical direction, pointing toward a more introspective and sobering perspective.

“It’s dark and pointed right at you. Lyrically, I’m exploring how my own middle-aged introspection doesn’t always bring a brighter light. I see my own trappings reflected in those around me. Here I am imploring them to slip the noose to see another day.”

The band have been particularly productive in recent years, entering the studio with a large body of material that ultimately led to multiple releases. That output already includes February’s ‘Love Is Not Enough’, with ‘Hum Of Hurt’ set to follow shortly after.
