Slipknot & Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor and his wife Alicia Taylor were among those celebrating the surprise return of Paige during night one of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
The first night of WWE’s annual stadium spectacle took place April 18th at Allegiant Stadium, where Paige made her first WWE appearance in more than seven years. The former “Anti-Diva” stepped in for an injured Nikki Bella, who had originally been scheduled to team with Brie Bella in a fatal four-way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Alicia Taylor shared a video to Instagram showing her and Corey reacting live to Paige’s return, capturing the excitement of the moment. Corey was also seen wearing a Roddy Piper tribute shirt during the celebration.
Paige’s history with the rock and metal world has long been well documented, and the Taylors’ reaction underscored the crossover between pro wrestling and heavy music culture. Alicia Taylor’s Cherry Bombs has remained active across numerous rock and metal events, further tying the worlds together.
Paige last wrestled for WWE in late 2017 before announcing her in-ring retirement ahead of WrestleMania 34. Her return at WrestleMania 42 marked one of the most talked-about moments of the night.

I don’t think bringing back all these Diva era women wrestlers is a good thing. The women’s division has been better than ever, and finally moved beyond the diva error of just being there was w*nk fodder. I mean, you still had throwbacks like Liv Morgan, but actively bringing back the Bella’s, Paige, AJ… I don’t think it’s a good move.
They was there for Paige apparently. …..did they not stay to watch the rest of the show!?
