CRYPTOPSY Explore Child Stardom’s Dark Side on “Dead Eyes Replete,” Announce ‘An Insatiable Violence’ Listening Party

Cryptopsy have returned with another vicious offering from their upcoming ninth studio album An Insatiable Violence. The Canadian death metal veterans have just unveiled “Dead Eyes Replete”, a relentlessly brutal track tackling the darker side of modern fame culture.

According to vocalist Matt McGachy, the song draws from disturbing real-life subject matter:

“‘Dead Eyes Replete’ is one of the most brutal songs on our new album. It reaches into the depths of the sordid world of YouTube child stars and how parents rob them of their youth and innocence all in the name of greed.”

Set to arrive next Friday, June 20th, An Insatiable Violence explores the “waking nightmare” ushered in by certain aspects of modern technology, offering a scathing critique through technical brutality and thematic depth.
