Melodic death metal/metalcore veterans Darkest Hour have shared an update on their next chapter, confirming they’ve begun demoing material for what will become their eleventh studio album.
According to a social media post published today (February 10th), the Washington D.C. outfit have been splitting time between Ivakota Recording and The Riff Dojo while assembling pre-production demos. Fans looking for deeper behind-the-scenes insight can also follow along through the band’s Patreon, where additional updates are expected to surface.
The band said of the process:
“We’ve been working hard at both @ivakotarecording in DC and @theriffdojo on preproduction demos for our next album – our 11th studio album BTW!
We are so absolutely excited about this new material and we cannot wait to hit the big time studio – but first demo demo demo!”
While details regarding the album’s title, release timeline, or label home remain under wraps, the update signals that new Darkest Hour music is actively taking shape as they prepare for full studio tracking.
