Darkest Hour are gearing up to unveil the next chapter of their career, with the Washington, D.C. metalcore veterans confirming that four new music videos have now been filmed for their forthcoming eleventh studio album.
The band wrapped up work on the record earlier this summer and headed to Los Angeles this week to shoot the videos, which will accompany a series of singles expected to roll out ahead of the album.
Directing the sessions was Thomas Mignone, the filmmaker known for his work with acts including Mudvayne and Slipknot. Darkest Hour shared the following update regarding the experience:
“Just completed the filming of four Incredible music videos in LA under the guidance and vision of the legendary director Thomas Mignone! @officialthomasmignone
This is by far the most intense, involved, and excited we have even been around music videos and their connection to this new album and our songs.
We’re so thankful to Thomas and his amazing team who helped bring these videos to life. Throughout the creative process, heat, long hours, and random bumps in the road they handled everything as true pros and the whole process was even fun!”
The band also credited their label MNRK HEAVY for helping bring the project together.
“Also.. shout out to our label MNRK HEAVY who have invested so much into the creation of this album. Truly a team effort over here and the results are going to be unforgettable.”
Darkest Hour are currently promising that Album 11, new music, new tour dates and the newly filmed videos will all arrive this year.
