    DISTURBED’s David Draiman and MARILYN MANSON Met with Mixed Reactions at Black Sabbath Farewell Show

    David Draiman, vocalist of Disturbed, received a noticeably chilly reception during today’s Back To The Beginning farewell concert for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne in Birmingham, UK. According to Birmingham Live, Draiman was met with boos and middle fingers from parts of the crowd as he took the stage.

    Draiman was part of the all-star tribute performance organized by Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), where he performed covers of Ozzy Osbourne’s “Shot in the Dark” and Black Sabbath’s “Sweet Leaf”. He was backed by a lineup of Osbourne collaborators, including Jake E. Lee, Mike Bordin, and Adam Wakeman, with additional support from Scott Ian (Anthrax), Nuno Bettencourt (Extreme), and former Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.

    The backlash likely stems from Draiman’s outspoken support for Israel amid the ongoing war in Gaza, which began in 2023. In 2024, he visited the Israeli Defense Forces and signed an artillery shell with an expletive-laced message aimed at Hamas—an act that has drawn significant criticism, particularly given the high number of reported civilian casualties.

    Draiman later said he is “pro peace and coexistence between ALL PEOPLE”, but controversy has continued to follow him—including a wave of criticism over his appearance on Plush’s recent single “Why”.

    Draiman wasn’t the only artist stirring controversy at the farewell event. A pre-recorded video message from Marilyn Manson was played during the show, prompting additional outcry. Manson’s planned fall tour in the UK has already drawn protests due to his unresolved sexual assault and misconduct allegations, and the opening date of that tour was recently canceled.

    Back To The Beginning marked the final live appearance for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne, with proceeds benefiting Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice. The sold-out concert also featured performances from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Gojira, Halestorm, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Anthrax, Rival Sons, and others.

          Not to mention I wouldn’t want going to court becoming my new past time activity. I think pretty much no one who is a plaintiff or defendant are going to want to actually go to court. It’s just a part of how we get shit done. It’s like the DMV you know it’s important go there but you dread it.

          This applies to Manson and the accusers as well. Court costs are an absolute nightmare. When you’re a celebrity and you have to go to court every week it becomes your life so why wouldn’t you want to settle if possible?

          If anything that’s a much less abusive approach to end court trials because it indicates a mutual decency to save money by making deals.

          Coen Evers documentaries are generally propaganda rather than reality. Manson’s lawyer throughout explains to you all of the inconsistencies as well in Marilyn Manson Unmasked. That being said there is no merits to any of the claims and these documentaries were just made to pressure people to take action against Manson without convictions based on manipulation and pulling on heart-strings to try to make it so.

          In reality Manson has been with Lindsay for almost 14 years and they are very happily married. Generally people think Evan’s wrath came about because of some racey photos leaking of her and her brother wearing Hitler uniforms and she wanted to pin her bad parenting on Manson.

          On the contrary though there is no evidence to support abuse allegations and you’d think after 14 years Lindsay wouldn’t put up with the abuse as well but yet you see her going on tour with him all the time. I’ve talked to her several times throughout as well she’s very supportive of the fans as well as Manson’s vision.

          So it seems like you got jackshit but besides that Marilyn Manson has a female member in his band too known as Reba Meyers who previously worked on Code Orange ad has nothing but great things to say about touring with Manson.

          So to further that you would think Manson surrounded by all these girls, he would be abusive. But even former girlfriends and assistants came out in support of Marilyn Manson.

          Even one who accused Weinstein of raping her came out in support of Manson. Then Ashley Morgan Smithline who was pressured by Evan came out as well as Rose McGowan was even seen with Marilyn Manson and she was like the head of the charge when it comes to Weinstein. lol

Doubtful much booing occurred other than in the minds of the media trying desperately to carve out a narrative, or some pathetic keyboard warriors in comment sections online pretending they actually attend concerts instead of wasting away somewhere in their parents basements.

      If all these innocent civilians are so innocent, then why didn’t anyone of them warn Israel that there unarmed helpless people at a concert was about to be murder? Because none of them had a problem with it, until Israel starting giving them pay back.
