Pro-shot footage of Deftones performing at the 2006 Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands has been officially shared online. The June 5th set captures the alternative metal pioneers at the height of their Around The Fur era.
That evening, the band was joined by Max Cavalera (Soulfly/ex-Soulfly) for a live rendition of “Headup”, the track originally written about the death of Cavalera’s stepson, Dana Wells, who was close friends with the members of Deftones.
This marked Deftones’ third appearance at Pinkpop, following prior sets in 1998 and 2003. Fans can now experience the full 2006 set, which included fan favorites like “My Own Summer (Shove It),” “Be Quiet And Drive (Far Away),” “Change (In The House Of Flies),” and “7 Words.”
