DEMON HUNTER Announce New Album ‘There Was A Light Here’ Will Release In September

Demon Hunter will release their next studio album There Was A Light Here on September 12th via their own label, Weapons MFG. The emotionally-charged record is dedicated to the late mother of vocalist Ryan Clark, and thematically centers around love and loss.

Production duties were handled in-house by Clark and guitarist Jeremiah Scott, with Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed) overseeing mixing and mastering—except for the title track, which was handled by Eric Stenman (AWOLNATION, Deftones).

So far, four songs have been officially released, while a fifth track—“Ouroboros”—was recently shared exclusively through the band’s newsletter at demonhunter.net.
