Demon Hunter has announced that their twelfth studio album Exile will be released on September 09th through their own Weapons MFG label. Along with the news, the band released the first single from the album, a song called “Freedom Is Dead” with the video that you can find below. Exile is said to be the band’s first-ever concept album that is “set in the aftermath of civilized society’s collapse, the 12 songs examine modern life through the lens of a nonconformist, contemplating a life untethered.”
A four-issue comic series written by Ryan Clark, the band’s frontman, will help add context to the concept.
