Norwegian symphonic black metal giants Dimmu Borgir have officially announced their long-awaited return to North America, confirming a headlining tour set to kick off this August.
The run will support their upcoming album ‘Grand Serpent Rising’, which is scheduled to arrive on May 22nd and marks their first full-length release since 2018’s ‘Eonian’. Notably, this tour also serves as the band’s first North American outing in seven years.
Joining them on the road is a stacked supporting lineup featuring Hypocrisy, Suffocation, and Hulder.

- 08/08 Worcester, MA – The Palladium
- 08/10 Toronto, ON – History
- 08/13 Cleveland, OH – Agora Theatre
- 08/14 Chicago, IL – The Vic Theatre

- 08/18 Denver, CO – The Mission Ballroom
- 08/21 San Francisco, CA – The Warfield
- 08/23 Los Angeles, CA – The Novo
Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday, April 17th at 10:00am local time.
News of the trek arrives shortly after the band began rolling out new material from ‘Grand Serpent Rising’, including the lead single “Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel,” signaling a new chapter for Dimmu Borgir as they return to the stage in North America.
