European deathcore outfit Distant have unveiled their latest single, “Desolation,” accompanied by a war-themed music video directed by Bart Sperling. The track comes ahead of the band’s upcoming international tour and marks a heavier, more aggressive chapter in their sound.
Distant commented on the release:
“‘Desolation’ represents the most intense work we’ve ever done. After months of reworking our songwriting and building a new digital guitar amp from scratch, we handled the mix and master ourselves to push our sound to the limit. The result is raw, uncompromising, and a perfect reflection of our anger at corruption, greed, and systemic misconduct. Pure passion and aggression, captured unfiltered.”
