Deathcore outfit Distant have unveiled a new music video for “Flesh And Nails,” once again teaming up with Bodysnatcher vocalist Kyle Medina for the track.
The collaboration marks the latest meeting between Distant and Medina, who previously joined forces on the band’s 2023 posse cut “Argent Justice.” That sprawling track also featured members of Suicide Silence, Emmure, AngelMaker and several other acts from the deathcore scene.
According to Distant, “Flesh And Nails” centers around the fallout that comes with discovering someone’s true intentions after placing trust in them.
“On ‘Flesh & Nails’, we join forces with our longtime friend Kyle Medina for a powerful and uncompromising exploration of betrayal, deception, and broken trust. The track confronts the reality of those who hide behind false loyalty, only to turn their backs when it matters most.”
The band continued:
“Channelling anger, frustration, and hard-earned clarity, ‘Flesh & Nails’ captures the emotional weight of discovering who people truly are when the façade falls away. It stands as a visceral statement on betrayal and the lasting scars left by those closest to us.”
Bart Sperling directed the newly released video.
“Flesh And Nails” will appear on Distant’s forthcoming album, ‘Into Despair,’ which is slated for a November 6th release through Century Media.
