DragonForce Announce ‘Inhuman Rampage’ 20th Anniversary North American Tour

DragonForce have announced a fall North American tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album Inhuman Rampage.

Originally released in 2006, the record spent 23 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 and helped propel the power metal veterans to international prominence thanks to tracks including “Through The Fire And Flames.”

Joining DragonForce on the run will be Ensiferum and Rhapsody of Fire.

The announcement also arrives amid continued excitement surrounding Alissa White-Gluz joining the band’s lineup. DragonForce guitarist and co-founder Herman Li commented on the new era for the group in a statement accompanying the tour reveal.

“Alissa joining the band is an expansion of everything we’ve done up to this point.”

Li continued by reflecting on the band’s longevity and evolution over the past two decades.

“Twenty years is a long time to do anything, let alone survive the music industry and still be so inspired to continue doing what we love.”

He also teased what fans can expect moving forward with White-Gluz involved creatively.

“Together we will honor what made Inhuman Rampage matter, while showing people exactly where we’re going next.”

Li added praise for White-Gluz’s impact on the group both musically and live.

“Having Alissa in the room changes everything. She doesn’t just sing, she makes all aspects of our music better. And she sounds incredible live!”

Public on-sale for the tour begins Friday, May 29th at 10:00am local time, with Citi and artist presales launching today at 12:00pm ET.
