Good Tiger frontman Elliot Coleman has gone viral on TikTok following a dramatic personal makeover that even earned him coverage from long-running publication People.
While the band recently returned with their latest album ‘The Most Negative Day Of The Year’ via 3DOT Recordings—the focus of the viral moment wasn’t music, but Coleman’s striking transformation ahead of a running race.
The vocalist posted a before-and-after clip to TikTok showing a drastic haircut and beard shave, which quickly took off online and has since surpassed 2 million views.
Coleman reflected on the unexpected attention, telling People:
“I thought it looked pretty funny, and figured it would get views. If it had just been the hair, I don’t think anybody really would have cared as much. I went from looking like an ‘80s metal rocker to an accountant.”
Despite the viral attention centered on his appearance, Coleman’s work with Good Tiger continues to circulate alongside the buzz around his transformation.
With a new album already out and unexpected mainstream attention rolling in, Coleman has found himself in a rare crossover moment between progressive post-hardcore and viral internet culture.
