Post-hardcore outfit Excide have officially found a new label home, announcing a fresh partnership with Papercut Recordings less than a year after issuing their sophomore album Bastard Hymns through SharpTone Records.
While details regarding new music or upcoming releases have yet to surface, the signing marks another notable addition to the growing Papercut Recordings roster. The label launched last year and was co-founded by Brand Of Sacrifice guitarist Michael Leo Valeri — who also founded Shibori Threads — alongside Fit For A King bassist/vocalist Ryan O’Leary, also known for his work with Beacon Management.
Excide’s move comes after the release of Bastard Hymns, which helped further establish the band within the modern post-hardcore scene. Though the group have remained quiet regarding what’s next creatively, the new partnership suggests additional announcements may not be far off.
