Fit For A King have debuted “Begin The Sacrifice,” the opening track from their newly announced album Lonely God. The song arrives alongside a Garrett Drake-directed music video (known for work with Silent Planet, Wolves At The Gate), now streaming below.
Speaking on the song’s meaning, vocalist Ryan Kirby explained:
“Thematically, you can think of it as a person who’s ready to begin the sacrifice of himself for a greater cause, but there are a million things asking for his attention. It’s not necessarily religion. People are arguing about everything these days. So, it’s easy to end up believing in nothing because you feel overwhelmed.”
The band’s next full-length, Lonely God, is set to drop on August 1st via Solid State Records.
To support the release, the Texan metalcore outfit will hit the road this fall on a massive North American headline run with Make Them Suffer, Spite, and 156/Silence. Select dates will not include Make Them Suffer, as noted below.
