The chaos turned romantic at a recent Fleshgod Apocalypse show, where a couple exchanged wedding vows onstage mid-set. The unexpected moment took place during the band’s ongoing run on the ‘Chaos And Carnage Tour’, which also features Dying Fetus, Cradle Of Filth, Ne Obliviscaris, Undeath, Vomit Forth, and Corpse Pile.
Francesco Paoli, vocalist/guitarist of the Italian symphonic death metal unit, stepped into the spotlight not just to perform—but to officiate the ceremony. While he jokingly acknowledged that the event wasn’t legally binding due to his non-ordained status, the gesture still brought a theatrical and heartfelt twist to the night.
This marks the second viral heavy metal wedding of the year, following last month’s mosh pit matrimony during a Cannibal Corpse performance. Metal fans seem to be turning concert pits and stages into altars, and 2025 might just go down as a historic year for extreme music love stories.
The ‘Chaos And Carnage Tour’ is nearing its end. You can still catch the remaining dates here:
05/10 Des Moines, IA – Val Air Ballroom
05/12 Wichita, KS – Temple Live
05/14 Denver, CO – Fillmore Auditorium
Fleshgod Apocalypse with Dying Fetus & Undeath:
05/11 Lawrence, KS – The Granada
05/13 Ft. Collins, CO – Aggie Theatre
