Foo Fighters are set to return to the stage this fall with a newly announced run of Asian tour dates. The multi-platinum alternative rock icons have been largely quiet since September of last year, when frontman Dave Grohl made headlines after revealing he had fathered a child outside of his marriage.
Now, the band are gearing up to hit the road again with the following stops confirmed:
10/02 Jakarta, IND – Carnaval Ancol
10/04 Marina Bay, SGP – Singapore Grand Prix
10/07 Tokyo, JPN – Saitama Super Arena
10/10 Osaka, JPN – Glion Arena Kobe
This upcoming run will also mark the debut of a new lineup addition, following last week’s departure of drummer Josh Freese. Though no official replacement has been named, widespread speculation suggests Shane Hawkins — the 18-year-old son of late drummer/vocalist Taylor Hawkins — is a leading candidate to fill the role.
