Foo Fighters Announce ‘Your Favorite Toy’ Album, Share Title Track

After weeks of teasing, Foo Fighters have officially revealed details of their twelfth studio album, ‘Your Favorite Toy’, arriving April 24th.

The record marks the band’s first full-length since bringing in former Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin last year. Fans have already heard one preview in last October’s “Asking For A Friend,” and now the band have unveiled the album’s title track, “Your Favorite Toy,” as the second taste of the 10-song effort.

Frontman Dave Grohl shared insight into how the song shaped the project:

“‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.”
