Brent Hinds made his return to the stage last night, March 21st, performing with his long-running project, Fiend Without A Face, at 529 in Atlanta, GA. The rockabilly/psychobilly outfit’s performance marked one of Hinds’ first live appearances since his departure from Mastodon was officially announced on March 7th.
His exit from Mastodon ended a 25-year run with the progressive sludge metal group. Since parting ways, both Hinds and his former bandmates have remained tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding the split.
Ahead of the show, Hinds promoted the performance via his Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of his post-Mastodon musical endeavors.
