GAEREA Unveil New Single “Submerged”

Portuguese black metal visionaries Gaerea have returned with a surprise new track, “Submerged”, arriving less than a year after their acclaimed 2024 album Coma. The release arrives as the masked collective wraps up their intense ‘Su8m3r91ng Summer Tour’, with just a few European festival and club dates remaining this week.

The band’s relentless momentum doesn’t stop there—later this year, Gaerea will join Orbit Culture as direct support on a sprawling European/UK trek, with ATLAS opening. The run will see them hit some of the continent’s most iconic venues and festivals, including Damnation Festival in Manchester, Bataclan in Paris, and Electric Ballroom in London.

With “Submerged,” Gaerea continue to cement their reputation for fusing crushing black metal ferocity with suffocating atmosphere—proving their creative fire is burning hotter than ever.
