Portuguese post-black metallers Gaerea are gearing up for the March 20th release of their new album Loss, and they’ve now shared another glimpse into the record with the debut of their latest music video, “The Nomad.” The masked quartet once again enlisted director Pavel Trebukhin to bring the track’s visuals to life.
Commenting on the song, the band explained:
“‘The Nomad’ represents someone who moves constantly through life to avoid confronting themselves—physically wandering, but emotionally fleeing from guilt, self-doubt, and the fear of becoming someone they despise. At its heart, it’s a confession of alienation: a nomad not by choice, but through self-imposed punishment and inner collapse.”
Loss arrives March 20th via Century Media, continuing Gaerea’s exploration of dark, introspective post-black metal.
