GRAMMY Award-winning French progressive metal giants Gojira delivered a special moment during their July 19th set at the Release Athens Festival in Athens, Greece. The band welcomed Robb Flynn — vocalist/guitarist of Machine Head — to the stage to help perform a cover of Sepultura’s 1993 classic single “Territory.”
The collaboration also doubled as a celebration, as Flynn happened to be marking his 58th birthday that very night.
Fan-filmed footage of this performance has since surfaced online, capturing the energy of this unique pairing as they paid tribute to one of metal’s most enduring anthems.
