Gridiron Release “Mascot” Video, New Album “Poetry From Pain” Set For May Release

Gridiron have confirmed the release date for their upcoming studio album, Poetry From Pain, set to drop on May 30th through Blue Grape Music. The rapcore band, formed during the pandemic, features members from Never Ending Game, Simulakra, and Scarab.

Vocalist Matthew Karll shared his thoughts on the album’s track “Mascot”, saying:

“Mascot is about people who say they are going to do things and don’t follow through with them, no matter what it is.”

The track is accompanied by a music video directed by Dan Centrone, which can be viewed below.
