Guns N’ Roses Guitarist Slash Quits Twitter/X

Guns N’ Roses legend Slash has officially exited the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), citing ongoing security concerns as the primary reason behind his departure.

While many artists have distanced themselves from the platform due to dissatisfaction with owner Elon Musk, Slash made it clear his reasoning was personal and rooted in his experience with repeated account breaches.

“I’d like to inform you that I’ve decided to step away from Twitter/X and will no longer be active on the platform. This was a considered decision after repeated hacks, and it reflects a shift in how I’d like to stay connected moving forward.”
