Australian Nu-Metalcore Band Headwreck Sign With EMPIRE, Expand Label’s Heavy Music Reach

Australian nu-metalcore outfit Headwreck have officially signed with independent label and distribution powerhouse EMPIRE, marking a notable expansion for the company into the heavier side of alternative music.

Best known for their work across hip-hop, R&B, pop, and reggaeton, EMPIRE’s roster has included major names such as Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Bebe Rexha, and Shaggy. The addition of Headwreck signals a new push into the nü-metalcore space.

Frontman Connor Hickman described the partnership as a natural fit, noting that the label immediately understood the band’s creative vision and encouraged them to stay authentic to their identity.

The signing arrives alongside the release of Headwreck’s new single “Raindrops,” which is now available with an accompanying music video.
