Metaforya was founded in 2012 and continued as a cover band for many years. Featuring Hilal Türker on vocals, Akif Özdin and Erdal Bayraktar on guitars, Murat Bayraktar on bass guitar, and Ozan Sezgin on drums, Metaforya began to focus on original compositions and album work starting in 2022. Operating within the death metal genre, the band’s songs express anger and dark themes, addressing social inequalities and featuring metaphorical lyrics.
In 2023, Metaforya released their first single, ” Mortal World, ” and by early 2024, they completed their debut EP, ” Empires of Dust. ” In 2024, they also finalized their second single, ” Against the Dark Tide. ” Metaforya has produced three music videos, including one lyric video, and currently boasts 12 compositions. Of these, 2 have been released as singles, while 4 have been included in EPs. The remaining 9 compositions are set to be released as an album in the end of 2025.
