Ice Nine Kills have unveiled the second chapter of their “Play Dead” music video, continuing the band’s collaboration with the hit asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead By Daylight.
The horror-themed track was created in partnership with Dead By Daylight and features contributions from the game’s longtime composer Michel F. April. Following the debut of the first video installment last month, the band has now expanded the story with a new narrative-driven sequel.
Much like the original clip, the latest video features appearances from actor Devon Sawa (Idle Hands, Final Destination), legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, and actress/musician Krsy Fox (Terrifier 2, Little Bites).
The continued crossover between Ice Nine Kills and Dead By Daylight further strengthens the band’s longstanding connection to horror culture, which has become a defining element of their identity over the years. The group’s cinematic approach to music videos has consistently blurred the lines between metalcore, horror films, and immersive storytelling, making “Play Dead” a natural extension of that formula.
With the release of part two, fans can now see the next chapter unfold as the collaboration between Ice Nine Kills and Dead By Daylight continues to evolve.
