Iron Maiden Play “Infinite Dreams” Live For First Time Since 1988

Iron Maiden delivered a major setlist surprise to kick off their latest tour, performing “Infinite Dreams” live for the first time since 1988.

The moment took place on Saturday, May 23rd in Athens, Greece, where the band launched the newest leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour at the Olympic Stadium.

The track originally appeared on their 1988 album Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, and its return marked the first live performance of the song in over three decades.

The full setlist featured a mix of classic cuts, including “The Number of the Beast,” “The Trooper,” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name,” alongside deeper cuts such as “Phantom of the Opera” and “Rime of the Ancient Mariner.”

The current tour will continue across Europe throughout May, June, and July, with upcoming stops featuring support from acts including Anthrax, Megadeth, Evergrey, and Trivium on select dates.
