A second wave of tunes has been locked in for the upcoming remake of the 3rd and 4th installments in the iconic Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. This revamped collection—bundling both games into one package—will hit various platforms on July 11th.
The first wave of confirmed tracks brought back several fan favorites from the original soundtracks, along with fresh contributions from bands like Turnstile, Alice In Chains, Kittie, and more. Now, the latest batch of additions features a few notable surprises.
British heavy metal icons Iron Maiden are set to return, this time contributing their classic “2 Minutes To Midnight” instead of the original “The Number Of The Beast” from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4. Additionally, alternative metal outfit Seven Hours After Violet—a project led by System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian—adds their explosive track “Alive” to the mix. Although System Of A Down’s “Shimmy” previously featured on the soundtrack for the fourth entry in the franchise, it remains uncertain if it will make the cut in this remake.
Below, you can check out the first two waves of artists confirmed for the soundtrack of this highly anticipated game collection.
