METALLICA’s James Hetfield Launches Limited Edition Custom Track Loader with CASE

James Hetfield, legendary frontman of Metallica, has teamed up with construction equipment brand CASE to launch a limited edition TV450B compact track loader, custom-designed with artwork inspired by his life and career. Only 25 units of this special edition machine have been produced and are currently available for purchase.

Designed for use on Hetfield’s own ranch, the custom loader features detailed graphics pulled from Metallica’s iconic imagery, Hetfield’s tattoos, and even the pinstriping on his personal hotrod collection. According to CASE, the final design concept was submitted by John Piper, a rising designer at CNH:

“Piper crafted a concept that recalled one of Hetfield’s tattoos, a skull with wings, together with the sharp iconic font reminiscent of his band’s graphics and album artwork. He also drew from the pinstriping in Hetfield’s private hotrod collection. All these elements were integrated atop a sandy camouflage pattern reminiscent of Hetfield’s signature Snakebyte electric guitar – a direct request from the artist.”

The loader, first unveiled in December 2024, is being sold alongside exclusive merchandise at casece.com.
