Cody “Porkchop” Ash — drummer for multi-platinum country rocker Jelly Roll — recently stepped way outside his usual lane, taking on the title track from Slayer’s Seasons In The Abyss.
While Ash has past experience in heavy music with Sylar and O’Kingdom, this was his first time hearing the thrash metal staple. Drumeo set the challenge: give him a few percussion-free listens, then have him create his own drum parts on the spot.
