Jimmy Eat World Announce ‘Bleed American’ 25th Anniversary Tour With Thrice, Rise Against & More

Jimmy Eat World have mapped out a major anniversary run celebrating their landmark fourth album ‘Bleed American’, bringing a rotating lineup of notable support acts along for the ride.

The alternative rock mainstays will perform the record in full each night while also mixing in fan favorites, with select stops featuring Thrice, Rise Against, Sunny Day Real Estate, Minus The Bear, Sparta, Motion City Soundtrack, Hot Mulligan, and others.

Guitarist Jim Adkins spoke about the mindset behind revisiting the album in a live setting, explaining:

“I feel like at this time in our lives, especially for me, it’s important to get back to a place that you can savor. This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show, a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment.”

Reflecting on the album’s original completion and its lasting resonance, he added:

“When we printed the last mix of ‘Bleed American‘, we felt like we had achieved something great for ourselves. There was no barometer of how it would connect with people outside of the studio, and we are still in awe with the life the record and songs have had since their original release. ‘Bleed American‘ is as much yours as it is ours, so we want to celebrate it with you all in a very special way.”

Ticketing will begin with multiple presales launching February 11th, including artist, Citi, and American Express windows, followed by a general onsale scheduled for February 13th at 10:00am local time.
