JUDAS PRIEST Planning To Record 20th Studio Album In 2026

British heavy metal icons Judas Priest have confirmed plans to begin recording their twentieth studio album in 2026. In a new interview with Audio Ink Radio, bassist Ian Hill revealed that the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have already started developing ideas for the milestone release.

“There’s plans to go back into the studio in the new year. So when it’ll be released, I don’t know. It’s a long process. We’re in no rush either, so it’ll be a while. But the recording is gonna happen, it looks like, next year.”

When asked about the band’s progress, Hill added:

“I know Richie [Faulkner] has. He’s got quite a few ideas together, yeah. So we’ve got a head start there.”

The upcoming effort will follow Invincible Shield, released in 2024, and mark yet another chapter in Judas Priest’s storied five-decade career.
