New Zealand industrial nü-metal outfit Kaosis have released a music video for “Goremageddon,” the title track they contributed to the upcoming horror sequel ‘Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon’.
The new single features guest appearances from Carla Harvey of The Violent Hour and formerly of Butcher Babies, alongside Mike Hrubovcak of Azure Emote and formerly of Monstrosity. The collaboration continues Kaosis’ penchant for bringing guest performers into their music.
The film serves as a follow-up to the cult horror movie ‘Deathgasm’, which blends heavy metal with horror-comedy mayhem. The sequel also features a cameo from Matt Heafy, frontman and guitarist of Trivium.
Kaosis vocalist Xen shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration and the track’s connection to the film’s legacy.
“Lending our sound to the Deathgasm legacy with ‘Goremageddon’ was an absolute blast. Carla and Mike were amazing people to work with. ‘Goremageddon’ is fast, heavy, and the video is gory af.”
The newly released video brings the song’s gruesome aesthetic to life, offering another taste of the metal-fueled horror surrounding the upcoming sequel.
