Surgeon, the project led by former Reflections vocalist Jake Wolf, have announced a new album titled ‘Aphantasia’, with pre-orders now available ahead of its release on October 30, 2026.
The upcoming record features a substantial collection of material, spanning 18 tracks written between 2023 and 2026. Wolf handled the writing, production and recording of the entire album himself.
The release follows the collapse of Reflections earlier this year, after a dispute surrounding allegations of Wolf’s support for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reportedly contributed to a breakdown in relations between him and his former bandmates in the Minneapolis progressive metalcore group.
Wolf has since continued working on music under the Surgeon name, with ‘Aphantasia’ set to bring together several years’ worth of material into one release.
Pre-orders for the album are now available ahead of its October 30 arrival.
