Arcus, the mysterious masked band recently caught up in a controversy involving Sleep Token, have released a music video for their new single, “Rebirth.”
The project previously promoted itself as being connected to a “co-creator” of Sleep Token, prompting the British alternative metal band to publicly distance themselves from Arcus. The situation has fueled speculation about the mystery group’s origins and its potential connections to Sleep Token’s past management.
Fans have suspected that any link between Arcus and Sleep Token frontman Vessel and his collaborators may stem from a former manager. Following the backlash from Sleep Token and their fanbase, Arcus have also reportedly removed previous social media references to their supposed Sleep Token connections.
Despite the mystery surrounding the group, several members have been identified. The known lineup includes vocalists Soma Leith, Obsidian and Eupheryx, as well as guitarist and vocalist Istarion. The identities of approximately five additional members remain undisclosed.
For now, Arcus continue to build their identity as a masked act, with “Rebirth” serving as their latest release amid the ongoing speculation.
