Members of Kittie and The Pretty Wild have joined forces with Diamante to deliver a fresh take on Metallica’s gold-certified early ‘90s power ballad “The Unforgiven.” Their rendition is set to appear on the official soundtrack for the upcoming film Queen Of The Ring, which chronicles the life and career of late WWE Hall of Famer Mildred Burke.
A teaser of the track has surfaced ahead of its full release this Wednesday, March 5th. The film itself, directed and co-written by Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen, is set for a screening on March 7th.
This latest cover follows last week’s reveal of another high-profile collaboration from the soundtrack, which saw Slipknot’s Corey Taylor teaming up with rising alternative metal act Bad Omens for a version of Kansas’s ‘70s classic “Dust In The Wind.”
