KITTIE Debut Re-Recorded “Do You Think I’m A Whore?” Music Video Ahead of ‘Spit XXV’

As part of their 25th anniversary celebration of the gold-selling 1999 debut album Spit, Canadian alternative metal pioneers Kittie have revisited some of their earliest work. The upcoming collection, Spit XXV, features four re-recorded tracks: “Spit,” “Do You Think I’m A Whore?,” “Brackish,” and “Charlotte.”

Ahead of the EP’s September 19th release via Sumerian Records, the band has shared a Wombat Fire-directed music video for the updated version of “Do You Think I’m A Whore?”

Vocalist and guitarist Morgan Lander reflected on the process:

“We’re beyond excited to revisit and reimagine songs that started it all for us with Spit XXV. Re-recording these tracks has been an emotional and empowering journey. It’s a chance to honor our roots while bringing a new level of energy and experience to the music.

“‘Do You Think I’m A Whore?’ has always been the dark horse of our debut album, and it was such a pleasure to give it an updated treatment and celebrate how strong of a song it really is. Paired with the incredible visuals from Wombat Fire, it’s finally getting its flowers.”

Fans can expect the full Spit XXV release this Friday, marking a milestone in Kittie’s 25-year career and honoring the enduring impact of one of alternative metal’s most influential albums.
